The historic Rialto Theatre has been renovated and made beautiful by volunteers, those ordinary-extraordinary people who give their time and money to benefit the rest of us. The active theatre board organizes various cultural events throughout the year to include musical programs, speakers, school plays, etc. Don’t miss an afternoon or evening sitting in Koubek Gardens next to the Rialto before enjoying a special performance in the theatre. A recent event called Blue Sunday included a blues band from Chicago. The tickets to this event also included a lunch at Jim’s Bar and wine and cheese tasting at Nebraska Farmhouse Antiques. Another recent event was a fashion show. The board’s great ambition is to secure equipment and show classic movies.
