Achievement. \ə-ˈchēv-mənt\ noun, 15th century; the act of achieving: accomplishment. A result gained by effort.
Our community center is a true picture of achievement. When Arnold sets its sights on a goal, it fully intends to see that goal through to the end. Thus, in 2002, after much hard work and many donations and grants, our new community center was erected. To fully appreciate the effort put forth to accomplish this project, see the list of generous donors, and please extend your thanks next time you see them.
The new building has a full-size basketball court, bleachers, balcony, restrooms, a meeting room, and a large, fully stocked kitchen ready to serve your needs. Since its opening, it is quickly becoming the heart of Arnold, hosting a large percentage of our activities. It is open to the public during daytime hours for those who engage in indoor sports or walking.
Additional items available for use with rental of the building are 35 round tables, 10 eight-foot tables, 272 chairs, and a collapsible stage that is 4' wide by 8' long and 2' high.
If you would like to rent the community center for an event, download the Arnold Community Center Rental Agreement. It contains everything you need to know, including rental rates, guidelines, the rental agreement, and the cleanup checklist.
